We used empty bottle, water and glitters to make our “calming bottles”. These bottles can give the kids a little break by shaking the bottle and observe the glitters mixed with the water.
Please be reminded that there is no school from Monday, February 1, 2016 to Friday, February 12, 2016. Classes resume on Monday February 15, 2016.

Dear TAS Parents and/or Guardians,
Spring is here at The American School (TAS) and we’re ready to welcome the Year of the Monkey for the Lunar New Year!
TAS is proud to present our annual Tet Assembly this year with the theme of “The History of Tet in Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam.” The assembly will begin at 8:30 AM, on Friday, January 22, 2016 in the MSHS Auditorium. The students have been practicing for the past several months, and are looking forward to performing for the TAS community the fruits of their labor.
On the next day, the TAS Tet Fair will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016!
The fair will feature a fun-filled night of traditional and modern activities, student performances, and a delicious Food Court. The food court will be hosted by the TAS Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and will have many mouthwatering Vietnamese and international foods on offer. There will also be an exciting Lion and Dragon Dance to start off the night! The program also includes a TAS Ao Dai Fashion Show and a Kung-Fu demonstration.
Mark your calendars for these two great events, and bring your family and friends to join in this celebration of spring and the New Year. Come dressed in your best Ao Dai or Vietnamese traditional clothes to receive free food and games vouchers!
