Lesson Overview Q2 Week2 (Nov. 3-7)

This week’s theme will be Basic Shapes and Primary Colors.  We will learn new songs in relation to the topic and we will also do some crafts like Marble run and mix and Match shapes to be used as our visual aids and we will integrate our lesson with our Music and Art classes.  We are looking forward to learn more and explore with new things inside the classroom.

Happy Halloween!

Milking a cow :)

Since we’ve been studying about animals and their young. We also tackle about where the milk that we drink comes from. In our activity, we pretended to milk a cow with the use of glove and water. We had fun doing this activity and appreciate more on how important it is to take good care of the animals. IMG_7677 IMG_7678 IMG_7679 IMG_7680 IMG_7681 IMG_7682 IMG_7683 IMG_7684 IMG_7685 IMG_7686 IMG_7687 IMG_7688 IMG_7689 IMG_7690

Halloween Carnival! (October 31st)

Dear Parents and Members of the TAS Community,

This Friday, October 31st, is Halloween! Halloween is one of the most fun and exciting holidays for the kids, and we ask that parents come and join us to celebrate!

At the start of school on Friday, we have our October assembly. Miss Emily, Miss Tara, and Miss Lovely will lead the assembly with performances by the Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten classes. We will announce the winners from this month’s Read-A-Thon and give out monthly awards for students who work diligently in their specialist subjects. All parents are welcome to enjoy the performances and applaud the kids’ hard work.

In the afternoon, from 3:30 to 5:30, we have a special Halloween Carnival on the secondary campus. The middle and high school students have worked hard all week to make fun activities and games for the elementary students. Parents and members of the community are invited to join for a trick, a treat, and a spooky good time!

All of the students and teachers are encouraged to come to school in costume to celebrate the Halloween holiday all day at school and in the afternoon at the holiday carnival.

Happy Halloween!

Pep Rally

Last October 15, We had a Pep Rally at the playground. They even had a chance to join an activity. They ran and showed to the older kids how fast and excited they are. The teachers also joined the relay. At the end of the activity, we had a basketball competition played with the 3rd-4th grade students and they were able to stand in victory! Hooray Mustangs!!

Mini Farm

We are so excited for our mini farm! We painted the barn and the  pig pen. We use whatever resources we have in class.  We also made sheep using cotton and pig out of colored paper and clothes pin. Inside the barn, you can see different farm animals like sheep, chicken, cow and goat.We even use our existing toys to create this.  You can visit our mini farm anytime you want!
