ES Basketball Tournament

December2

Our elementary basketball team competed in the U11 Basketball City Championship Tournament at American International School Nha Be Campus. The team tried their hardest to qualify the playoffs in their pool and unfortunately, they didn’t make it. However, they displayed skills improvement individually and it was a great experience for them especially for the young players.

Shout out to all the TAS staff who in one way or another helped us participate in this tournament, and to all parents, thank you for all your support. We will try our best to bring the bacon home next year! Go Mustangs!

Last December 9, 2015, TAS ES Basketball Team bagged the 3rd place of this year’s U11 Basketball City Tournament sponsored by Saigon International School Athletic Conference (SISAC) at SSIS, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. The players tried their hardest to steal the first place but unfortunately, the rival team stopped the objective of the TAS team in the first game. The team was defeated by European International School (EIS). In the second game, the boys made it and were qualified for the semifinals. The team seized victory in the semifinals match against the American International School (AIS) team with the score of 8 – 6. Indeed, this basketball tournament gave our young athletes good exposure and paved the way to exhibit their skills. My special thanks to the TAS family, Mr. B, Ms. Aubrey, Ms. Nhan, Mr. Garth and parents for your undying support. Well done, Mustangs!12391904_503630869842225_4474036899059146457_n
